Welcome to the website of the GEHA project
This project is supported through Priority 1 (Life Sciences, Genomics and Biotechnology for Health) of European Union's FP6, Project Number LSHM-CT-2004-503270, and is the largest project ever financed in Europe to study the genetic determinants of human longevity.
The GEHA consortium clusters 25 partners coming from 11 European countries, and China.
GEHA will collect 5300 old siblings and 2650 younger controls, thus realising the largest study ever made on longevity in humans.
In the next pages you will find more information on the Consortium’s aims, partner composition and on the results of the Study. |
