The External Advisory and Gender Board is a board of external reviewers consisting of three outstanding European and/or non-European scientists to be nominated during the GEHA kick-off meeting who will assist the Consortium, and particularly the Steering Committee, in the evaluation of all project deliverables, with the aim to promote a quality control procedure during the lifecycle of the project.
Targeted meetings of the External Advisory and Gender Board will be organised at periodic intervals for the examination of planning and performance of WPs and validation of the milestones and deliverables; these workshops will also provide opportunity for criticism and suggestions while the project is in progress.
The Board will be also involved in the supervision on the equal opportunities. The Consortium pledges itself very rigidly to take into account the gender issue, to involve women project resources and to encourage women to participate to the planned training activities. The Advisory Board will monitor and verify the fulfilment of this commitment.
